Presenters
Carol Ptak is currently Visiting Professor and Executive in Residence at Pacific Lutheran University after years of executive management experience at PeopleSoft and IBM Corporation, where her work earned her national recognition in publications such as CFO Magazine and the New York Times. This experience combines with several years of consulting in her own company, where she worked with organizations such as Boeing and Starbucks.
Carol earned an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology, has completed graduate work at Stanford University, is certified by the American Production & Inventory Control Society at the level of Fellow and also in Integrated Resource Management.
Chad Smith is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Constraints Management Group (CMG), a services and technology company specializing in Pull-based manufacturing, materials and project management systems for mid-range and large manufacturers.
Since the late 1990’s Chad and his partners have been at the forefront of developing and articulating the concepts behind Actively Synchronized Replenishment (ASR) as well as building ASR compliant technology. Chad is also an internationally recognized expert in the development and application of the Theory of Constraints technology.
